Sağlıkta Dönüşüm Programı uygulamaları (2002-2012) sürecinde, sağlık hizmetlerine erişim, hizmet kalitesinde iyileşme, hasta memnuniyetinde artış yüksek oranda gerçekleşmişti. Böylece, Türkiye başarılı bir sağlık reformu örneği vermiş ve bu başarı diğer ülkeler ve uluslararası kuruluşlar tarafından da takdir edilmişti. Devam eden süreçte, Kamu Hastane Birlikleri uygulaması tedavi edici sağlık hizmetlerinde kısmen de olsa iyileşmeyi devam ettirmişti.

Abstract Dental tourism and cosmetic surgery tourism is a field of study that attracts a lot of attention by researchers lately. The cost of this field, factors that pushing people to this tourism and the falses known true elements are need to be examined. This translation made from "Handbook on Medical Tourism and Patient Mobility" author who has book section in it they examined carefully the causes factors that force to the dental and surgery cosmetic tourism, its yields, risks and various examples about tourism. Authors dental and cosmetic surgery tourism’s unseen aspects revealed striking findings. The purpose of this translation is to contribute to Turkish literature, and to guide to researches in terms of academic publications.
